I've raised this iris for a number of years. Its foliage is really the only
reason I allow it to stay in the garden.
This particular form of pallida seems to be highly susceptible to sudden
chills and only 1 year have the blooms *not* been deformed by frost.
The yellow and green form, I. pallida variegata 'Aurea', on the other hand,
is a real garden gem. Lovely blooms on strong foliage and never a problem.
