One of my favorite spots in the whole world, and I've not seen it for 20 
years.  I can only imagine the improvements in that time.  When I lived in 
St. Louis, I spent a lot of time there, wondering thru the gardens. It was on 
my way to work and I left early many afternoons to spend a few minutes at the 
gardens(night shift). When I started these walks the gardens were free to the 
public but later I had to pay an annual fee for the privilege. 

For a country girl, it made big city life possible.
