That's good to hear, Betty.  The second slimy pod is a bit farther along
than the first one, whose seeds looked almost normal, but shriveled to
little nothings after I rescued them from their slimy smelly mush glob
that started out as a pod.  The seeds from slimy pod #2 are stark shiny
white, but certainly have gotten all they will get from their pod - they
were not attached.  Were your seeds still white when you rescued them
from their slimy containers?

And more importantly, have you noticed any correlation between slimy
pods and slime prone offspring?  These pods sure smell like our old
friend Erwinia/soft rot.
