I've never grown them, but a friend told me they tend to fry.

Well, there ya go. I hope mine does okay. It's on a southern slope,
full sun exposure. I can just see the velvety black leaves pressing
their way out now. Prob have blooms tomorrow. I'll be sure to take
pics!
