You DO remember what "Mother" always taught you....."Do as I
say....not as I do!" Yup - I get rid of some of those ugly BLOBS too - but
poor Lindi - how is she going to learn the `correct' way first? I'm about as
adept at being a good hybridizer as I'm a Jet Pilot! When in the company of
Barry Blyth, Keith Keppel, David Schreiner, Paul Black, Tom Johnson, Bennett
Jones......well, I just sort of slunk away into the bushes to go Snipe
hunting!
My TB's are just blooming; daylillies will be ready for you when you
get here, but first stop in the Willamette Valley (rain forest) of OR - Oh
how those Rhododendrons will appreciate you! And - you're too late for my
step sister...she always hires a "gardner" in Portland to deadhead her Rhodi
BEFORE it blooms - a very tidy woman.....(???)
