Hi
A late follow up to the discussion on yellow blooms. Yellow is my favourite
colour. I find it brightens up a dull day and still looks good on a hot day.
However I do distinguish between yellow and gold. I find that in both irises
and daylilies gold colours such as Throb and Pirates Quest frequently fade
in our hot sun, but yellows such as Moonraker and Harvest of Memories do
not. My fovourite yellows are prob Moonraker, Bahloo, Overjoyed and Total
Recall. What I really need are a lot of early flowering yellows. I find that
like pinks, most of my yellows flower Mid to Late.
