A couple of the blooming stalks of AMERICAN CLASSIC have fallen over in my
garden. It's a lovely plicata, and I hate to think its stems are weak. We
have had an unusually wet spring, and it's raining again now. Would that
have something to do with it? There are lots of blooms open on the fallen
stalks, and they may be holding a great deal of water. Only one other iris
has stalks that have actually fallen over, and I do have quite a few
different ones growing out there, many just as filled with flowers and yet
holding up well.
How does AC do for the rest of you?
