COMP:Subject Tags


I have found that keeping a copy of the subject tags list in my Netscape
Communicator files makes it easier for me to refer to when I want to
send a message to iris-talk.  It does not make an unusual subject any
easier to fit into a category though so I often do not post a message
when I can't find a tag I feel fits even though it might be about a new
product I found useful for iris.  Perhaps we need a miscellaneous iris
related tag?  I received quite a bit of useful information from e-mail
postings that did not have one of the acceptable tags or which did not
seem to fit the tag used.  I am not trying to criticize the protocol in
place, just trying to come up with a tag for  unique postings those who
do not want to read them can delete them if we have a tag to designate
them as new or unique items.
