One of the dogs, who can't seem to realize she is not a puppy any longer,
enjoyed mine this year in the beginning. That may be why ultimately the
stalk that was being covered got broken off. Then there is the
borrowing..........

True. This years' pods that have been planted are currently in pots loosely
wrapped in plastic grocery store sacks ....and lined up along one wall of
the bathroom waiting a week or so until I take over the extra refrigerator
with potted pods until time to take them out next spring. And don't know
whether to hope it works or not. If it does and next year results in a good
crop of seedlings, I may be in the market for another refrigerator :). I
can't help believe the poor germination this year was a blessing if I really
think about it, but I still want those seeds to sprout and grow. They sure
weren't cooperative this year.
