Years ago I bought it from Schreiners (it died out).  Sometimes they still
have varieties that are not listed in their catalog; worth a call anyway.
Where was Shoop's "home" garden/catalog?  I wouldn't particularly recommend
the flower.  Not really that pretty and a poor grower, poor bloomer, with
poor stalks (for me), and notoriously poor fertility.  An unusual pattern
and color combination: I know Ghio had some introductions derived from it
(Notorious was one, I think).  Maybe some of his more recent derivations
would appeal to your iris lover, or check out Keppel's Opposing Forces.
