Chuck,
I put merit on the kind that you use for the lawn and it will work all
season. So this is the first time I have done that. Of course now the sun
comes out and for the first time in weeks it isn't raining a little everyday.
Well I also put on a fungicide so that probably needs 24 hours or so to soak
up, before a rain.
Last year Cooleys catalog suggested the iris borer deterrent which is sprayed
on and the moths don't like the smell. Well it rains too much here to keep
applying that to so many iris. Hope this merit works will appoly earlier next
year. but I think it will kill the earthworms also. And I want those right?
