Me too! When I was producing mega pods (for me) the highest number of
crosses I made was somewhere around 200. I didn't work a 40 hours job
then--just children from 6-16 years of age, etc. I would hit the rows as
soon as the school bus left and stay until I had to go in to cook a meal in
the late afternoon. Then I'd head back again until dark. My family wasn't
really into iris so you should have heard the complaints! My son won't let
me have a seedling bed in his yard for fear he'll have to weed them!
Of course, I lost time at ball games & school stuff.
