I do not wish to mislead. That's attempted pollination of 10,000 blooms. Not
that many crosses. I usually use no more than about 20 or 25 different
daylily pollens and about that same number of iris pollens. Iris pollens are
used on about 200 or so of their counterparts while the daylily pollens are
used on about 1500 or so of their counterparts. Last year I only collected
about 70 pods from the iris efforts and will collect far fewer this year.
