Undaunted by the present owner's lax and sporadic care and grooming
techniques, Double Shot (Sutton '99) was the fourth horse to enter the
starting gate. Attention starved, she tilted her head slightly for the
photographer on the scene in order to get her full face in the frame. The
owner expressed his appreciation of the nine buds to follow and began giving
one to one odds on July iris bloom.
