Dennis, I am very interested in the results of this forced dormancy you
do.  I was told by customers from South Florida, the iris only needed to
be refrigerated for 4 weeks.  Did you really mean 6 months in your
note?  Can you give us some more details like how many plants you
refrigerate, how you keep them from drying out, do you bag and seal them
or give them air circulation.  Do you have any losses and when do you
plant them out.  Do you grow them in pots or in the ground.  Your
information here can help many thousands of folks trying to grow iris in
tropical climates.
