Barb,  Yes I do have dogs, 8 of them (!!).  Only one that wanders freely
though, but I'm sure when the others are walked, they would not leave my
garden alone.  So I guess Bone Meal is out.  Since I don't have a compost
heap, or a horse or bunny, would you suggest that I just throw in a little
store bought manure when replanting to amend the soil??
