Hi Sharyn,

Welcome aboard. It is always nice to have another voice.

Can you tell me did all three stalks grow at essentially the same time
or did one show up, bloom, die back and then the next show up. It is
probably a case of very deep branching, I have had some of mine do that
to one degree or another.

As to whether it is dying, are there any increases? If not, sounds like
you are on the way to bloomout. Interesting subject for me, since I have
about 9-10 (out of 350) that look like they are doing the same thing
(including one that I have been growing for 3 years - bummer).

There are lots of theories on what to do, some work sometimes, some
don't. From what I have surveyed, and what I am going to try, is - cut
off the stalks now, let them go dormant in their own time, dig, trim and
replant in a light or sandy soil. Be sure to leave the tops exposed. I
am also going to experiment by sticking a couple in the refrigerator for
a while - give them a cold shot for 6-8 weeks - who knows?? The goal is
to coax a couple of increases out of them.
