CD-ROMs. Just think about it! 

Not only could we have one for the historic cultivars, but we could have
CD-ROMs for all kinds of things! Annual Registrations and Introductions would
be really excellent if you could make it cost effective. I bigtime concur
about Species which could include shots in habitat, All Beardless, Japanese,
whatever....a great fundraiser for AIS!  Commentray and other literature
could be included as well. In theory, they could even be burned to order.
Sure beats calendars!

The historic stuff cries out for one, however, since it gets pretty tough to
find photos of a lot of them, much less plants in bloom. Make it the AIS
Millenium project! Between  the photographers and the technocrats in this
organization, it should be feasible. People want pictures, and people want
information.
