Barb, what may work is to have I versicolor. This is the native
North American host for iris borer. I sprayed both it and the TB's
(and a few other kinds of irises) with Cygon 240E this year
and last year. Have never had trouble with borers in the TB's but
have had then in the I vers. Don't know if I am going to have them
this year because there are square nicks in the leaves of the I
vers.
