Hi Linda,STARLIT VELVET -beautiful, I think - started with a single stalk 
with three-fou r branches, then decided not to develop the branches, and 
finally bloomed with extremely tight flowers at the main stalk.  I had the 
county out to inspect my garden, mentioned this, and I am expeting a report 
back - who knows when.  I also had several iris that had buds that did not 
develop and turned brown - on the same plants that won me blue ribbons.  
Estension office is supposed to comment on these also.  I had very minimal
