Re: Celia's Lament

From: celia storey <storey@aristotle.net>

My hand goes up with Judy's. I'm still here, too, but on digest mode. I
returned to work this spring and don't have the time online I once had.

But I'm looking forward to July, when I mean to unearth all my bearded
plants, ousting all those rotters I've been growing just because some nice
person gave them to me. Then I'll amend the soil and solarize, make
rudimentary terraces down the slope and finally replant with only irises I
am delighted by. In other words, goodbye SILVERADO, you rotten thing.
Goodbye BUBBLING OVER.

Those of you who have great success with those plants will please forgive me.

In their place will go space. This year I finally mean to take Bill Shear's
advice about spacing. I mean it! No more crowding things in one atop the
other just because they have to be planted somewhere.

No, really. I mean it.
