YIPPEE!!!  It has rained here most of the day and I, for one, am extremely grateful.  How about you Dr. Z??  It has been terribly dry here in North Carolina for the past 6 weeks or more.  No measurable rain to speak of.  Water rationing is going on in some places.  My iris have been begging for water and even though they've been getting a drink from the hose on occasion, I'm sure that they don't know what to do today.  This has been the good kind of steady rain.  I will look forward to a couple of days of this (if it lasts that long).  I'm sure the yards, flowers, shrubs and trees are doing the "thank you dance" as we speak.  Enjoy it while it lasts.
