Sigh! indeed! Weather radar yesterday showed a solid band of rain (the dark green kind) from Ohio to Florida and yesterday afternoon the drizzle started. I was out in a flash laying down Surflan in all the beds I had recently weeded, and when the tank was empty it . . . stopped! 12 drops in the rain gauge. No more rain in sight. 2.6 inches in May. 2.3 inches in April, .55 inch so far in June during a period where normal is an inch a week....
Just in from watering the beardless again. Hope my well holds up. Stop hogging all the rain, S.C., y'heah?
