Just uploaded a shot of Walter's Kuala Lumpur to

The photographer is obviously an amateur (next season we'll use a closeup
lens and block the wind), but the colors and form of KL are wonderful.
She moved here last year from a comfortable existence in MS to the harsh
realities of WA. The bed is in part shade, sandy, not watered, and it
stayed under snow for a considerable amount of time this spring.
The colors are a rich light gold with a coffee colored area around the
beard. Just beneath the coffee especially when she first opens, there's a
wash of purple. Blooms took their own sweet time to open in our cold
spring, but stayed open and fresh for days and the foliage is beautiful
even with our yo-yo weather. :)
