The dates for the national convention in 2001 (York, PA) are 5/22 to 5/28
and ... just for fun, Y2000 - is in Dallas (4/15 to 4/20)
&2002 is in Memphis (4/25 - 4/29)
2003 is in Virginia (no city given) 5/16-5/21
2004 is in Spartanburg, SC
2005 is St. Louis, MO
2006 is in Portland, OR (5/22 to 5/27)
2007 is in Oklahoma City
Kathy Guest.... who takes this opportunity to remind folks that the HIPS
Convention - or HIPS Happening - will take place in this very region next
year... first weekend in June (be there or be square.... it's going to be a
totally different kind of convention)
and in 2003, mark your calendars for the first EVER international siberian
iris convention - jointly sponsored by Region 2 (New York) and Region 16
(Ontario, Canada).... we'll not only have flowers, folks and fun.... but
we'll throw in customs, different currency and a waterfall.
