There is a running joke in my family and the iris society I belong to about
my buying a beautiful purple (packaged) rhizome from (gasp) Home Depot a few
years ago.
It produced beautiful increases, tall stalks multiple blooms per stalk - the
problem?
It was a bitone yellow!
I learned my lesson with that one and now buy only from reliable sources
Thanks for the continued good e-mails from the list members - I enjoy
