Dear Sharon: The only seeds I have had with prominent arils were from your
half-bred pollen on one of the seedlings from Mr. Sam Norris, which was
from a tetra aril by one of my hardy remontants. In other wors, half-aril X
half-aril, as I see it. Alas, the germination was amost nil. If any of you
know someone who will give such seeds the artificial germination, let me
know. I did get a really green arilbred with onco shape this spring, but
it had very, very poor substance! I enjoyed the few arilbred seedlings I
got, but none seem to be really decent growers so far. Maybe next year???
