Iris hexagona is native to almost all of Florida. It is common in
ditches in nearby Citrus County, but everytime I tried to take a closer
look, I saw alligators. I rather not mess with them...

The Florida Gardening List [flagarden] is for discussion of all Florida
Gardening Topics. It also operates out of onelist. I am now a Co-Moderator
on flagarden. To join, you can go to the onelist homepage, and search for
flagarden.
Being into Irises, I also hang out here on Iris-Talk, and on lairis,
which is devoted to Louisiana Irises, but is on another service.
