OT: Bio, very late in doing this

From: Denise Stewart <stewartd@proaxis.com>

Hello fellow iris lovers!
I've been around for quite awhile and have posted and such but have never
introduced myself at all. Some of you I feel I know pretty well from
reading all the posts and such.

My name is Denise, and after years of gardening, and of having a small mom
and pop nursery at my home, I decided that I would finally go into business
with one of my two biggest loves in the garden. What else, but Iris of
course.

I'm 55, moved from CA in '91 with my husband, and in 95 opened the
greenhouse. We live in a rural area with goats, sheep, chickens, dog and
two cats.

Now with this burning love for iris, I've opened a brand new iris garden,
will have the webpage up later this year, with a small catalogue and of
course for the first year or so the iris will be limited for sell. My
husband came up with the name! Snowpeak Iris and Daylily!

This is a ton of work, right now with preparing the 1/2 acre to get started
with, then digging and finding all the iris I've hidden all over for 8
years, trimming, dividing, labelling, and getting them ready to plant in
the new home. I know all this is worth it, but any of you want to come and
help? ha ha ha. Never be really big, but the burning love will be there.

Well, guess that covers it, I guess.

Thanks for the vast wealth of knowledge from so many different and
wonderful people.
