Oh, I'm no doubter - but I have been chastised for spreading rumors that 
can't be substantiated, so I thought it wisest to offer an "escape clause".

I do believe the borer is adapting and spreading.

I hope other folks with information will post so that we can get a clear idea 
of the current range.
