As in any computer program - the best DataBase program of course is the one your use
to using ---
I'm sure you've noticed that after working with a program for a long period of time -
then having to go to a new one is rough to say the least - (^_^)
YEARS ago when I designed and maintained the HIPS DataBank I used FILE MAKER PRO -
It is a dual platform program (Both PC and Mac )
The HIPS DataBank, when I left the DataBank task, - had over 7,000 entrees -
The dual feature was very useful to others on many occasions.
Not that most people don't already know - But a Database program is a marvelous
tool if you have lotsa data - However, they are very time consuming to enter data
and to maintain - But they certainly can manipulate data into any format required -
- -
If interested in knowing more take a look at the web site shown below -
( I'm NOT pushing this program - as someone wanted inputs - I don't even own a
Database program, anymore My 1,200 iris collection has been reduced to approx.
300-350 )

( where it was 70 degrees today - And I worked all day in the garden ! - so I'll be
prepared for the HIPS Convention in June )
