Where to rush out to buy? Oh, LOTS of places! There is no shortage of good
sources of HISTORIC irises!
Surely everyone knows about the Commercial Sources List on the HIPS page? The
list of those fine nurseries which specialize in HISTORIC irises? Perhaps I
should just reprint it here for the convenience of all.
There are many others, too, who don't specialize as such but carry selected
favorite HISTORIC cultivars, some very old, like Maryott's, Ohio Gardens,
Ensata, Ambrosia, Aitken's, Cal-Dixie, Ohio Gardens, Spruce, Nicholl's, North
Pine, Riverdale, Sand Hollow...well, the mind REELS....see your AIS
