Dear Iris-Talkers,
Recently a friend in ISM (Iris Society of Massachusetts) received a
very nice letter wondering if she grew some specifically named historic
irises. Since she is off-line, I offered to run them by the iris-talk
list. She mailed me a copy of the letter which turned out to be from
Roger Nelson. According to the archives, he is active in HIPS and from
time to time looks for specific varieties to fill out his collection.
The irises he mentioned were CLASSY, TRIM, VELVET ROBE, AHOY, BRIGADOON,
BURMUDA HIGH, NASHBOROUGH, SEABOURNE, SOPHISTICATE, DREAM VENDOR, SPRING
LYRIC, MARION MARLOWE, DASHING PRINCE.
If anyone grows these varieties perhaps you might contact him directly
