Aside from BOGOTA and FIDDLESTICKS, I have also grown
the following oranges:
FRINGE BENEFITS - rotted away
JOLT - grew like a weed, but had very short stalks, with
only 2 or 3 buds per stalk
MALAGUENA - does reasonably well here
DOROTHY DAVIS - loved this in OKC and in the Innerst garden
in PA last year. New for me, but looks healthy so far.
LACE LEGACY - new to me - another one that I saw for the
first time in the Innerst garden. Had a high bud count
there.
JOYFUL NEWS - not "real" orange, but I love the color. Does
fairly well here.
ORANGE SLICES does well in this area, tho I don't have
it. I loved AVALON SUNSET in OKC, but haven't seen it grown
around here, and don't have it yet.
