Hi,
Thought I would post a quick note about some happenings in our garden. At the moment we are having a lot of median bloom. Two SDB SAs have appeared out of non-SA lineage. (Sigh X Chanted) X (Chanted X Sigh) produced a peach/apricot with and fiery orange beard and short horns, consistent. The other ones is Auroralita X ? on each flower a spoon came out of one beard and short stubby horns appeared out of the other two. Any idea why this has happened. I figured something like this was going to happen sooner or later in all classes because it has happened in the past. Two in one spring surprises me. Maybe these little guys looked around the rest of the garden and saw all the other SAs and thought..well if everyone else is doing it........you know the peer pressure/association thing. I really like the first one, it has nice form and color with three buds. The second one is narrow and inconsistent.
