I do think the stalks may have been forming last fall.  But they try to grow
every time they get a couple of warm days and then get frozen at some point.
Probably will still get bloom on GOLD REPRISE, but DIME SPOT hasn't been
here long enough yet, I think.

Good idea on the black irises.  It would be nice to have HELLO DARKNESS grow
and bloom with the the habits of THORNBIRD.  Only one fan of HD and it would
take two bushel baskets to cover the clump of T.  Planted in the same
conditions at the same time.
