ABBEY ROAD does seem to have somewhat interesting contents in its
genetic 'soup' - a quick search thru its pedigree turned up mostly
creams and yellows, but also some aril ancestry (LADY MOHR), some
reichenbachii/balkana (WHOLE CLOTH) [often a 'good' sign for survivors
here], some pinks, blues, oranges, yellow light centered/darker rims ,
and even umbrata/variegata (MEXICO).
Are there any toughies to try in the cream to yellow base color with
mostly white falls with a solid band of color around the edge? None
that I've tried in this pattern has survived so far - any suggestions?
I have CHAMPAGNE WISHES, which does well in this area, but didn't bloom
for me last year. Any others that escape late freeze damage?
