Identifying unknown irises is a very chancy matter, especially if you don't
even have an idea of what their names might be. This is because of the
enormous number of different irises that have been introduced and the fact
that there are so many that are similar to each other.
As a starting point toward trying to identify your unknowns, you could
check out the photo guide to identifying irises that can be found on the
Historical Iris Preservation Society (HIPS) website at www.worldiris.com.
