Hi Carol and all,

On our way to the last convention in Denver, we played tourist, visiting
Yellowstone once again and they drove diagonally across Wyoming. (Boy!
does the wind ever blow across that state). We saw many groupings of I.
missouriensis as we crossed the state. We did stop at one large cluster
and found quite a bit of variation in intensity of the blue coloring.
Some had very little veining and others were marked far more. So there
still are sizeable clusters growing freely in the great plains to this
day.
