I love Joe Ghio's stuff but still reserving judgement.  They seem to take a
long time to get acclimatised.  I think Puccini was the only one that
bloomed last year.

Monty Byers' stuff hasn't done all that well either.  Suttons' stuff grows
but blooms tends to be off the first year.  Just about everything from Rick
Tasco does great.  But I'm still waiting to see bloom on Golden Panther.

Have those of you in other climates had as much wonderful luck as I have
with recent Ghio intros?  Of course most Byers things (and now I find many
Sutton things) are excellent growers, but for sheer beauty I'll take Ghio's
best work over anything.  Even extras that sound ordinary on paper ('I never
would have ordered that") usually turn out to be excellent and uniquely
lovely.
