My own clumps are still quite small (one of the oldest is dying for
some reason, but I have another of the same variety in the front
yard that is healthy). However, I have seen large clumps. There
is a church a couple blocks from my house that has a number
of very large clumps. The folliage on these plants get more
than 2 feet long. They do look somewhat like large clumps
of a siberian, except that the flowers are very different. I
have also seen large clumps of I. unguicularis along a street
in Berkeley CA. I have no idea how old these large clumps are.
