Why did FANCY WOMAN win since Detroit was a 'median
convention?' She had tremendous competition in the medians.
I have cast HM, AM and medal votes for BANGLES because of
seeing her perform at several conventions I have attended, but I
would not vote a Dykes for her because of her performance here.
Like most MTBs, she wimps out in the heat of the South. She
performs as an MDB in my garden. It is doubtful that she has ever
reached six inches tall in the several years she has been here. But
BANGLES deserves all of the awards she has won because she is
an MTB of exceptional merit where she is happy.
