I don't know if the blue carnations from the biotech firm in Australia have
reached our shores yet, however, I'm reminded of a very funny incident in
judging iris with food coloring. At one show I judged a few years back, one of
our well-loved pranksters dipped PCN's still in bud into food coloring, and
let them open indoors, and put them on the show bench.. yes, it was nearly
impossible to tell that it wasn't real.
