Gee, I'm more used to the eco-extremists that think everything "natural" (not
human) has an absolute right to live and not be bothered ("Who gave you the
right to kill the algae in your swimming pool!" "Don't you dare hurt that
rattlesnake next to your kid's swingset!") Eco-extremists limiting us to
bio-engineered foods? Most of them protest those as being unsafe.
Admittedly, most of them taste lousy as they are developed for shelf-life, not
flavor.

If you are a plant lover in any plant society you need to pay attention to
my last post.
I was trained as a plant ecologist and I can tell you the scientists are
about equally split on this issue. But at this time the eco-extremists are
more vocal and gaining the upper hand. One receive doctorate claims that 70%
of all garden plants or invasive and should be banned. Essentially anything
such as Iris that grows well is suspect. Please take the time to inform
yourself on this issue.
