Re: HYB: Seedling roots (was help - height)

Betty, what I've noticed about roots is the foliage to root ratio - some
of my seedlings produce a lot of foliage and few roots.  Those tend to
die here.  I'm not intentionally trying for F1 rebloom.  Yet... <g>

This year, roots of baby plants seem exceptionally brittle.  Maybe I'm
doing too good a job of keeping them growing fast this year <g>
