Hortnet was down yesterday - any messages on this topic get lost?

I got one offlist note saying they'd noticed that a lot of rebloomers
seem to be short.  I have thought that also, but didn't know whether or
not that was due to my growing conditions limiting the kinds of
rebloomers I can grow.

Abundance of short tough rebloomers here is the primary reason I need
help with this.

If I cross a short cold climate rebloomer with something tall, will I
get any tall children?

I guess the online database might tell me if <any> can be tall, but it
won't help me find out what proportion might be tall, to know how many
compost irises I will have to grow.
