Semt  me by a grandson in S,C, and I think it is important for all gardners 
to know !  Thos e ants are no fun!  Hope this reaches the early gardners!  I 
haven't gotten that far yet, i,e, my helpers haven't!  Rosalie nr Baltimore, Md.

Grandmummy,
   I saw an email being passed around at work about cheap mulch.  If it is 
any intrest to the gardeners in your circle, it has been reported in a 
article that some debris from hurricane Katrina that hit New Orleans is 
being turned into Mulch and sold as cheap mulch to Lowes and Home Depot.  
The mulch may be infested with "Formosan Termites."  Appearently there isn't 
a treatment against them?  When buying mulch this season, be sure where it 
comes from.  I hope you are doing well.  I will call you soon and say hello.
