I used to do that.  However, now that I have more space, I've started  to 
question it.  
 
Was I planting the strongest or just the earliest?  
 
Maybe I can think of a way to plant them all in a way to tell, or may just  
buy more flags!  
 
Bye the way, I don't like the flags with the pvc stakes.  The metal  ones 
rust but the pvc is much harder to get in the ground.
