Pacific Coast hybrids

Linda,

My pacific coast hybids (one year old seedlings) are on the East side of
the house and don't get much afternoon sun. They are also somewhat protected
to the North. They survived three nights of temperatures right at 15 deg
F this winter. I would not leave any mulch on them in the summer in your
humid climate (but I'm truly a novice so take it for what it's worth).
