Wasting Disease

Linda - I have followed the discussion of wasting disease or molliegrubs(great
name), however the pathology I do relates to people, and really doesn't carry
over at all into the plant world. Haven't noticed just what is described. We
have some very reluctant growers, but assume they are due to poor genes or a
poor match of their genetics with our climate. Most of the reluctant ones do
seem to bloom eventually, whereas with molliegrubs I gather they eventually
die. We do have rhizome rot problems in our high desert environment, although
probably less than in the wetter parts of the country.
